Absolutely magnificent! Em is very relatable to an uncomfortable degree. Maybe I should get that checked out? Either way, this feels like the essence of capturing lightning in a bottle; a spark of some emotion I've never seen before, but I really, really want to experience for myself someday.
Thank you! Writing this story helped me to sort out my own priorities, and whilst I never did anything quite as drastic as Em, I am now living much more authentically and the quality of my life has improved massively as a result.
I can't tell exactly what kinds of emotions you glimpsed, but I hope you get to experience them some day soon! Have a lovely 2025! <3
Game is actually amazing, NEEDS more recognition. My favorite gay game ever, even. Reading just felt like a burst of emotions but also because I tend to be incredibly closeted. Like being a different person outside of the internet, it's amazing how a game can make me feel that sort of thing but thank you so much for making this, amazing experience overall!
Really great experience with fantastic art to boot. Both characters felt multidimensional with their own fears and desires woven into each line of dialog. I honestly think I have a better understanding of what I want out of relationships seeing these two figure each other out. Thank you for making this.
I'd been meaning to read this for a long time and finally got around to it today. Bawling my eyes out. This is a raw and beautiful story, written from a perspective I've never seen explored before. You did it with a lot of care. Thank you for writing this. I don't know what else to say, I'm still choked up.
Reading this was an amazing experience. I've played a lot of visual novels, many hours upon hours long, but its hard to overstate how real this one moment between two people feels in comparison. The characters and the world feel so grounded and the writing was just perfect. I can't wait to see what you work on going forward!
Thank you! I've been having so many interesting discussions and experiences with various queer folks in the recent months, I wanted to try shaping a story out of those. It feels great to see people enjoying it!
This may very well be one of the best Visual Novels I've ever read. I was expecting a simple story, but found myself genuinely shedding a tear over the beautiful writing in this game. Although it's short, I suggest for anyone who still has second thoughts to give it a go. You will not be disappointed.
The art is fantastic, the writing is fantastic, God--my only wish was that there was more, but at the same time, I think this story works best as this little slice. I got a little choked up, which means a lot for me, hehe. It's hard to find stories that portray sex like this--as ultimately an emotional, rather than purely physical, experience. Also did I mention that the art is amazing like??? Hello????
The ending is especially appreciated for reasons I can't really describe without obviously spoiling things, hehehe. Happy pride! Thank you for sharing this, and best of luck to you with whatever projects you might be gracing us with next.
Thank you so, so much! I do have more stories to tell about Dea and Em! I'm just not quite sure when I'll have the opportunity to shape those into a finished work. Next spring, perhaps? Time will tell!
This was such a pleasant read, I loved the intimately awkward conversations the two had. It is so realistic and attractive. The art and aesthetic was so nice as well!! c:
I've never seen someone with the same boundaries as me represented before, or met someone like that, or even had my boundaries truly respected. This game has kind of made me feel like it's possible? I might cry XD thank you for that /pos
i...why cant i stop crying....it hit so hard somewhere deep within me...maybe its the current conflict thats happening that makes this all more relatable, knowing that i'll die alone if the worst happen, that there will never be any "Em" there for me...
i dont know how to put my thoughts into words but its a gem that i'll treasure , the art and character design is good, i can clearly understand what the author is trying to say through the words, characters are fleshed out smoothly in a short time frame, the background music is suiting.....its overall nice and pleasant
thanks for making this, i'll try to spread some word
It ripped me apart in the same way, I saw the meaninglessness of how much I worry and fret and try to control my presentation and be 'the right gender' when...when I doesn't matter. It doesn't matter at all. In the face of mortality and love it doesn't matter.
Thank you! Thank you so much! I try to write hopeful stories because I've struggled with hopelessness myself, but I've also seen that good things can and do happen to us! I want to tell stories that remind us that despite everything queer people can thrive and find happiness.
Really enjoyed playing through this! Art was spectacular; particularly loved the use of the silhouettes instead of typical game sprites. Made it a lot more dynamic. Also really enjoyed Em and Dea as characters. Thank you for making this!
Thank you so much! Social media makes my anxiety levels spike, so I've decided to stay off of it for the time being. Itch.io has been really lovely, though, so maybe I'll make an art zine or something one day and upload it here. ^^

Thank you so much, and I'm really glad to hear that!
Comparing where I was two years ago and where I am now, I feel like making this game also helped myself to figure some stuff out. :>

Oh my gosh! Thank you SO much! I would not have dared to write and release something like LAST without doomsday dreamgirl!
awww im grateful you were inspired and created something as nice as this! c:

Be queer, live life. It's all we have.
This one is filed under 'life changing games'.

Who's the artist? It looks awesome!
I am! And thank you so much!

Ahh, thank you so much! I had very little time to make this, so I decided to go with silhouettes and it worked out better than I had expected. ^^
It was fantastic! Do you have a social media platform where you post art? I really like your style and would love to see more of the stuff you do!
