Interesting. In our media's this topic was never treated with much respect (...at least the time I watched them before 10 years or so...), it's a refreshing inside-view. The novel self and his art are also good work.
made an itch account to comment here. love all the novels ive read from the creator but this one especially felt very important to me. the showing of the queer experience, in so much depth and in so little time, with both the joy and distress, really made an impression on me. the anxiety both characters have was so close to what i experience, i almost had an anxiety attack with the cat. that fear of being attacked, abused, mutilated, dissected by those bigots, just for existing, living, thriving, felt so palpable in the story. how each of their insecurities about themselves manifested in their actions and words also really hit me close, im often worried abt how i come across to others for the same reasons both of them have (especially relating to the cat, as an enby), but the fact that they both can still come together and love each other makes everything ive experienced seem less bleak. these are the types of stories we as queer people need to have in our lives, stories that let us know we're not alone, that we're not disgusting for being who we are, that we're not unlovable, and, most importantly to me, that our lives can still be full of joy, despite it all.

This is absolutely amazing! I can't wait to see future content from you, I adore this! I loved the characters immediately, and now I almost wish this was a full VN I could lose a week reading!
As a genderfluid person, I can really sympathise with the difficulty of explaining your own gender, and I feel so bad for the feline, they're adorable, have an amazing fashion sense~, and are so precious! When they began panicking I just yearned to be able to protect them!
The canine is also a wonderful character! Watching them overthink like that made my heart pace, and it hurt me so much to see them in pain! Notwithstanding it being such a dangerous town, that kiss at the end was so perfect, and I'm so glad the short ended so happily! Alltogether, I loved this. I can say this is up in my favourites already!
I will watch your career with great interest, my friend!

You have such a way with writing queer anxiety, like dang their internal monologues are so well done. I love the details in the staging too, like the boyfriend's reflection and the enby facing the darkness. Great job as always, and thanks for making this! :D
Absolutely commendable writing and interpersonal monologues, too. The character's inner turmoil was palatable and relatable as well. By far the best, and most adorable, visual novel I've read and highly recommend to anyone who hasn't seen it.
The sprites were very expressive and conveyed the emotions perfectly. It was easy to follow how exactly the character felt during the moment.
I also wanted to say that it was amazing to see more facets of queer life explored and given great detail as well as the characters being older, too.
Is there any way to donate? That's how amazing the short story was because it deserves as much support as possible for the amount of love and craft that went into it.

The two of them are so, so relatable and I was terrified at the thought of anything happening to them. I’m so glad they were able to meet each other and in the cat’s case, become a better person, and in the dog’s case, be able to feel appreciated (like he absolutely should!!!) This inspired me so much for my own stories and life and I feel so fucking POWERFUL now!!! Thank you so much for making this!!! <333~
Their individual worries were portrayed insanely well. I love the small details, like the cat character's pupils getting wider when they think about their bf and the boyfriend's pep talk about him being the one to stand up for himself and grow. Wonderful short little game would love to see more of these two!
